The Mintox News component can be used to add news articles or blog entries to your website, add custom tags and assign them to categories and authors. You can also restrict articles to specific membership groups, so you have control over what your users see, and you can schedule articles to come online on at specific dates if you like to prepare articles ahead of time.
The articles you add can be easily displayed anywhere on your website, as a basic list on the homepage, or as a full detailed listing on your News or Blog page.
First Steps
When you initially set up the Mintox News component, adding categories is your first step as each entry in the Mintox News component must be assigned to a category. Take a look at Adding News Categories to get started.
Once you have at last one category in place you can move on to Adding News Articles.
